During the 9-hour (3 days, 3 hours per day) Boot Camp, each student will be guided through

  • The development of a college essay to be used or adapted for college admissions
  • Common Application & or Apply Texas Application
  • Academic Resumé to be used for admissions and letters of recommendation

    • Boot camps are fast-paced group events for 11th and 12th graders. Because essays and other assignments will have to be written and edited by each student in a short period of time, we recommend this event for students who already possess good writing skills and who can produce a draft within time constraints.

    Important: Your non-refundable payment is required to reserve your spot. Students must attend all three sessions. No make-ups are available. A laptop computer is required for participation.

    • Students must provide their own laptop and USB flash drive.
    • Students must have good writing skills.
    • Students must work well with strict time constraints.
    • Students may need to further develop their essays to achieve a final draft.
